What am I paying for?
The canvas. The artefact recipes, the structured-thinking surface, and the live sync that lets Claude Code read and write your work as you go. That’s the part Duetpad builds and runs. The AI itself runs under your own Claude Pro or Max — we don’t mark that up, and we don’t charge you for it.
Do I need Claude Code?
You’ll get the most out of Duetpad with it paired — the AI can read and write your canvas live. You can still work standalone: fill in artefacts by hand and copy them into any AI builder. The canvas is the value either way.
I joined during early access — does anything change for me?
We told early users we’d look after them, and we will. If you signed up while Duetpad was finding its feet, we’ll sort you out — reach out and we’ll make it right before anything changes for your account.
